Read-only bank connection
Accounts and transactions from the connected bank, synchronized on their own every 6 hours. Only the last 4 digits of each account are stored and the connection can never start an operation.
Connect your bank account in read-only mode and Remotjob brings in its transactions on its own every 6 hours, sorts them by category and matches them to the supplier payments and expenses you already recorded. Whatever nothing supports stays in plain view. The connection can never move money.
Every month-end someone compares the statement with invoices, payments and receipts, line by line, only to find a charge nobody can explain. Bank and reconciliation brings the transactions in on its own, sorts them by category and shows you what is backed up and what is not, so reconciling becomes a short review instead of a search.
The connection is read-only: the system looks at your transactions and can never start one.
Remotjob enables the connection for your organization and whoever administers it pastes the read-only token on the screen itself. It is stored encrypted and never shown again; rotating it means pasting the new one over it.
Synchronization runs by itself every 6 hours. Accounts and transactions update without duplicating, and for each account only the last 4 digits of its number are stored.
Rules by counterparty or description assign each transaction to an expense category. Your organization’s own rules take priority over the general ones, and a category you set by hand is never overwritten.
Outgoing transactions with no payment attached appear with a suggested supplier, and one click turns them into a Procurement payment. Company-paid expenses in Expense reports are matched to the bank outflow by amount, date and merchant similarity.
Remotjob lists the bank charges that no expense, reimbursement, supplier payment or purchase invoice supports. With one click you create the expense from that charge and attach the missing receipt.

Each transaction falls into an expense category according to rules by counterparty or description. You can add your own rules, correct a category by hand and re-apply the rules to what has already been imported.
Outgoing transactions with no payment attached are suggested with their supplier (by bank alias, the tax ID in the description or the name) and turned into a payment with one click, applied to the oldest invoices. The supplier learns its alias.
Each company-paid expense is matched to the bank outflow with a match score. Linking them takes one click, and a bank transaction backs at most one valid payment or expense.
The list of bank charges that no document supports, with the option to create the expense from the charge.
Each bank transaction is left with no document, partially backed or reconciled, depending on the purchase documents that support it.
The period’s spend by category, to see where the organization’s money goes according to the bank.
Connected accounts add to your cash position and the transactions form the historical actuals of monthly inflows and outflows.
The connection’s security is designed so that the worst a token can do is let someone look at transactions, never create them.
No. The connection is read-only and the system has no path to write to the bank: it only sees accounts and transactions.
Synchronization runs on its own every 6 hours. If the same period is brought in again, transactions are updated and not duplicated.
Remotjob enables the connection and whoever administers your organization loads the read-only token on the screen itself. It is stored encrypted and is not shown again.
It shows up in the list of charges without support. From there you can create the expense with one click and attach the missing receipt, or record it as a supplier payment.
The automatic connection is available with the banks Remotjob has integrated. The Integrations page shows which are available today.
